Xbox, Bethesda Games showcase to take place on January 25: How to watch, what to expect

Xbox and Bethesda Games have announced the first major gaming event of the year. The two companies have announced the Developer Direct showcase will take place on January 25, 2023. At the event, the two companies will be giving gamers a snapshot of the new games that will be arriving on Xbox, PCs and Game Pass this year.

How and when to watch Xbox and Bethesda Games showcase

Xbox has said that interested people will be able to watch the Xbox and Bethesda Games Developer Direct showcase at 12PM PT or 3PM ET on January 25 or 1:30AM on January 26. The company says that interested people will be able to watch the event live on the official Twitch and YouTube channels of Xbox and Bathesda Games.

What to expect from the Xbox and Bethesda Games showcase

As mentioned before, at their upcoming showcase, Xbox and Bethesda Games will be showcasing the new games that will be arriving on Xbox, Game Pass and PCs in the coming year.

Xbox said that at the upcoming showcase, game creators from studios such as Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios, the Developer_Direct will share details about the upcoming features, extended gameplay showcases, and the latest info for Xbox games launching in the next few months. The list includes games such as The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall.

In addition to that, Bethesda Game Studios will take a deep dive in its new and upcoming standalone game — Starfield.

As far as the specifics are concerned, Xbox said that Studio Director Matt Firor will unveil 2023’s major Chapter update for The Elder Scrolls Online, including the latest regions of Tamriel to become playable in ESO, as well as a major new feature coming in the game’s biggest update this year. “The Developer_Direct will be immediately followed by the full, standalone ESO Chapter Reveal Event, hosted by Zenimax Online Studios, which will provide all the in-depth details ESO players will be keen to know,” the company said.

Additionally, Mojang Studios will showcase an insider’s look into the PvP multiplayer experience in Minecraft Legends. Lastly, the company said that Developer Direct will reveal single and multiplayer gameplay for Redfall.
