
Realme has launched a new smartphone in the entry-level segment in India. The all-new Realme 12x 5G comes with an impressive specs sheet for the price. Some of its highlights include a large 120Hz display, a 50MP AI camera, a Dimensity chipset, and 45W fast charging support. The smartphone succeeds the Realme 11x 5G from last year and brings a new design compared to it. Let’s see its price and full specifications.
The Realme 12x 5G is priced at Rs 11,999 for the base 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 13,499 and the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration costs Rs 14,999. Buyers can get a Rs 1,000 bank discount on ICICI, HDFC, and SBI Bank cards. The mid variant gets an additional Rs 500 discount. The device comes in two colour options – Twilight Purple and Woodland Green.

The smartphone will go on an early bird sale from today between 6 PM and 8 PM on Flipkart and Realme.com.
The smartphone has an improved design over the predecessor Realme 11x 5G. It also comes with an updated specs sheet offering more for the price. Starting with the screen, the device has a 6.72-inch punch-hole display with an FHD+ resolution. The panel is now brighter coming at 950 nits of peak brightness. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate.
In terms of optics, it has a 50MP AI main camera with an aperture of f/1.8. It is assisted by a 2MP B&W sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Realme has offered several camera modes on the phone such as Night, Street, Pro, Pano, Time-lapse, Slow-mo, Dual-View and others. It has an 8MP camera on the front for selfies. The rear as well as the front camera is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps.
MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset powers the device and it is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has dynamic RAM support of up to 8GB, which is basically the virtual RAM feature that utilizes the in-built storage.
The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC charge via the USB Type-C port. The device has a stereo speaker setup and a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Lastly, it runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.
