POCO is said to be working on the F8 series for the global market, and it may launch the devices sooner than expected. The POCO F8 Ultra was recently spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform, hinting at the device’s imminent launch. The POCO F8 Pro and F8 Ultra are expected to be rebadged versions of the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max, which recently debuted in China. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek (@kacskrz) shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the POCO F8 Pro will pack a 6,210mAh battery, while the F8 Ultra will be backed by a 6,500mAh unit. In contrast, the Redmi K90 packs a larger 7,100mAh battery and the K90 Pro Max houses a 7,560mAh cell. To recall, the POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra – which launched as global variants of the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro – packed smaller batteries. POCO F8 Pro, POCO F8 Ultra Specs (Expected)

The POCO F8 Pro is expected to sport a 6.59-inch screen, while the F8 Ultra may get a 6.9-inch display. Both will likely offer OLED panels with 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Internally, the POCO F8 Pro may run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The F8 Ultra could be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Both devices are said to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM with up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

In terms of cameras, the F8 Pro could feature a triple camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens. The F8 Ultra is expected to sport three 50MP cameras – a main sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a 3.5x periscope telephoto sensor. On the front, a 20MP selfie camera is expected on the F8 Pro and a 32MP sensor on the F8 Ultra.
