OnePlus is all set to launch its next premium offering – the OnePlus 15 – in China on October 27. Alongside the flagship, the brand will also unveil the OnePlus Ace 6 in the home country. Ahead of its official launch, the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone have been confirmed by the company. Here’s everything that the OnePlus Ace 6 could bring to the table. OnePlus took to Chinese microblogging site Weibo to share the key specifications of the OnePlus Ace 6, calling it a “full-spec performance” phone. The device is confirmed to offer variable refresh rates of up to 165Hz. The screen will support 60, 90, 120, 144, and 165Hz levels of refresh rates. In terms of durability, the OnePlus Ace 6 will feature a metal frame and come with IP66/68/69/69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Under the hood, the handset will pack a 7,800mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging. The company did not mention any wireless charging tech for the smartphone.
The Ace 6 is also confirmed to run on last year’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with a “gaming networking chip G2”. The device will feature a 50MP Sony main camera, tuned by Oppo’s imaging system.
Previously, OnePlus teased the Ace 6 in three colour options – Black, White, and Quicksilver. The device will weigh 213 grams.
OnePlus will launch the Ace 6 alongside the OnePlus 15 on October 27 at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST) in China. Both the devices are currently up for pre-booking on the Oppo e-shop, JDMall, and other online retailers. Customers can pre-reserve the OnePlus Ace 6 for CNY 1 (approx. Rs 12) and avail benefits worth CNY 3,255 (around Rs 40,100).
