iQOO has shared official images of the iQOO 15, which suggests a new design approach. Based on the teased image, the phone is confirmed to sport a triple-camera setup inside a squircle-shaped module, paired with an LED flash. The rear panel shows off two new colour options, including a marble-like finish and a shade called “Lingyun.” Other details point to a metallic frame, right-angle corners, and an RGB light strip integrated discreetly into the frame. Reports also suggest that the handset could come with an IP68 or IP69 rating against dust and water.
The iQOO 15 is shaping up to be quite an interesting flagship if the leaks are anything to go by. For starters, it’s said to get a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution. iQOO is reportedly using Samsung’s latest LTPO panel here, complete with ultra-slim bezels, an AR anti-glare coating, and Pol-less depolarisation tech. In simpler terms, expect better brightness, smoother visuals, and lower power draw. The company is even claiming that issues like ghosting during fast scrolling or video playback won’t be a problem, which hints at one of the most advanced screens we’ve seen on an iQOO phone yet.
Cameras are getting a big push too. The phone is expected to house a triple 50MP setup — a primary sensor, an ultrawide, and a periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom. That last one is new for the series and should make zoom shots more useful than before.
Performance-wise, the iQOO 15 could be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. There’s even talk of an additional “gaming chip” to handle heavy workloads more efficiently.
Battery life looks promising as well. Leaks point to a huge 7,000mAh unit with support for 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging. And for security, you might get an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display.
