HP Envy x360 14, HP Omen Transcend 14 unveiled with Intel Core Ultra processors and AI features

HP on Wednesday unveiled two new laptops in the Indian market. The HP Envy x360 is an ultrabook with a slim form factor and also the first one from HP to feature a Microsoft Copilot key. The HP Omen Transcend 14 is a laptop for gamers and content creators. It has a discreet NVIDIA GPU and a vapor chamber cooling system. Both laptops come with AI features and are powered by Intel’s Core Ultra processors.

HP Envy x360 14, HP Omen Transcend 14 India price, availability

The HP Envy x360 14 is priced starting at Rs 99,999 and comes in two colour options, namely Meteor Silver and Asmospheric Blue. The HP Omen Transcend 14 starts at Rs 1,74,999 and has two shades – Shadow Black and Ceramic White.

Both laptops are now available for purchase in the HP World Stores and HP Online Stores in India.

HP Envy x360 14 specs and features

The Envy x360 boasts a slim and lightweight design. It has a full aluminium chassis and features an x360 hinge to use the laptop in tablet mode. The laptop has a 14-inch OLED touch display with a resolution of 2.8k. The screen has an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio and variable refresh rate between 48Hz and 120Hz. It is an IMAX-supported screen with exclusive expanded aspect ratio support for select movies.

The laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and has a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to help with battery optimization. This is the first HP laptop with the Microsoft Copilot key on the keyboard, enabling generative AI features such as assisted search, content generation, and more.

It packs a battery that is claimed to offer up to 14.75 hours of battery life. It has a 5MP camera for video meetings and face recognition for secure login. It also has a manual camera shutter for privacy. The laptop comes with Temperol Noise Reduction for improved audio quality.

HP Omen Transcend 14 specs and features

The HP Omen Transcend is a laptop meant for both gaming and content creation. It features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a variable refresh rate between 48Hz to 120Hz. It is the world’s first laptop with audio tuned by HyperX. HP claims that this is the brand’s lightest gaming laptop weighing 1.6 kg.

Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU power the gaming laptop. It comes with vapor chamber for keeping the heat out while gaming. The laptop has a battery that offers up to 11.5 hours of battery life, as per HP. It ships with a Type-C PD 140W charging adapter. The laptop has an RGB backlit keyboard and a decent-sized keyboard.

It comes with AI capabilities like live transcript, real-time captions during meetings, a record function for transcribing audio, and AI-generated notes. As for ports, it has 1x USB Type-C port, an HDMI 2.1 output, 1x Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C port, and 2x USB Type-A ports.
