vivo has finally confirmed the global rollout of its new Android 16-based OriginOS 6. The OS will first be unveiled in China on October 10, 2025, followed by its global debut-including India – on October 15. For Indian users, vivo and iQOO have already announced a Preview Program for OriginOS 6. Registrations will open on September 29, though details about the sign-up process and eligible devices are still under wraps. From the hints shared online, it looks like vivo will first make the preview available for its X Series phones. For iQOO users, the iQOO 13 will be the first model to get access.

The Vivo X300 series and iQOO 15 will be the first devices to launch with OriginOS 6 pre-installed in China this October, several reports suggested. These models are also expected to bring the OS to global markets, including India, later this year.
