Realme GT Neo 5 launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 240W fast charging

Realme on Thursday launched the much-rumored Realme GT Neo 5 in China. The GT Neo 5 is the world’s first smartphone with 240W fast charging support. Realme GT Neo 5 specifications

The Realme GT Neo 5 comes with a 6.74-inch punch-hole AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. It has up to 144Hz refresh rate and 1500Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and a 93.69 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device features an in-display fingerprint scanner. It has a triple rear camera system with a 50MP Sony IMX890 main lens with OIS support. It is assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. There’s a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9 camera sensor on the front for clicking selfies.

The device is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with Adreno 730 GPU. It comes with two battery and fast charging options — 4.600mAh + 240W and 5,000mAh + 150W.

It has 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage options on the GT Neo 5 240W model. The 150W model comes with 8GB/12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM with a lone 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The smartphone has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos audio and a USB Type-C for charging as well as for music. The dual-SIM 5G phone comes with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS support. It boots on Android 13 OS with RealmeUI 4.0 on top.

The smartphone comes in Purple, Black, and White colors. Now that the China launch is done, it is expected to launch in the global markets as Realme GT 3. It will also reach the Indian region as early as this month.
