Samsung is gearing up to take over the foldable market with their upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. While Samsung is still keeping most details under wraps, leaks and rumours have already given us an idea of what to expect from the flagship Galaxy Z Fold 7. Let’s dive deep and see what we know about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and what we can expect from the ultimate folding flagship.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at its next Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2025. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to rock a massive 8.2-inch AMOLED inner display along with a 6.5-inch AMOLED cover screen. That’s a solid improvement over last year’s model, and we’re also expecting some new hinge tech to make the device even more durable.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is tipped to run on the also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite, making it the most powerful foldable on the market right alongside the Moto Razr 60 Ultra. We can also expect improved software integrations with this new chipset that would make the foldable experience smoother, smarter, and more efficient than ever. The Fold 7 is also expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, making it a powerhouse for productivity and media consumption. For the battery department we could get a 4,400mAh battery which is more or less in line with last year’s model. Mostly, Samsung may optimise this for a longer and better battery life.

For camera enthusiasts, the new camera leaks could mean a huge deal. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 might get a major upgrade with a 200MP primary rear camera, paired with a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto shooter. That’s a big leap from the Fold 6, and could potentially make this the best camera setup ever on a foldable. On the front, it’s expected to include both a 10MP selfie camera on the cover screen and a 4MP under-display sensor on the inner screen.
So far, the Fold 7 sounds like a solid evolution of an already impressive foldable. With a sleeker design, beastly internals, and a camera that could rival traditional flagships, Samsung’s next foldable might just be its best one yet.
The pricing for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is still under wraps, but we can expect a slight bump over last year, given all the new upgrades it’s bringing. For reference, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 launched at Rs 1,64,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
