At IFA 2025 in Berlin, Dreame Technology rolled out a bunch of smart home devices which can simplify everyday chores, from cleaning your floors to mowing your lawn. The highlight? A robot vacuum that can literally climb stairs on its own.
Yes, you read that right! One of the showstoppers was Dreame’s Cyber X – a vacuum cleaner that doesn’t stop at the stairs. It comes with a stair-climbing system called QuadTrack, which acts like a small lift to carry the robot between floors. It handles steps up to 25 cm tall and moves at a pretty decent pace, while also mapping stair shapes and angles in real-time using AI.
The robot and the stair-climber both run on high-capacity batteries, letting it cover up to five floors without needing a manual lift. If you’ve ever had to drag your robot vacuum upstairs, you’ll understand how big a deal this is.
Dreame also introduced Cyber10 Ultra, which goes a step further – literally. This robotic vacuum has a flexible robotic arm that can extend into tight corners, move things out of the way, and even pick up small objects. The arm uses different tools depending on the job, from soft brushes to slim nozzles. It’s still early days for this one, but it’s an interesting peek at what robot vacuums could evolve into.
Apart from these, Dreame also showcases the Aqua10 Ultra mops – with self-cleaning rollers and fresh water tech – aim to make mopping as effortless as vacuuming. Then there’s the Matrix10 Ultra, which smartly switches between different mop types for different rooms, so you don’t have to.
The V30 and V20 Pro cordless vacuums focus on tangle-free hair pickup and corner cleaning, while the A3 AWD robotic lawn mower handles slopes, edges, and obstacles without breaking a sweat.
The new Aqua and Matrix series products will start hitting stores this month, with the V-series vacuums arriving later in September. Cyber10 and the A3 robotic mower are set for early 2026. All of them will be available on Dreame’s official site, Amazon, and selected retailers.
