Honor launched a new pair of wireless earbuds, and they pack seriously good specifications for their price. The new Honor EarBuds X9 were unveiled in China at the company’s 400 series event. They are priced at just 299 yuan (around Rs 3,547). At this price, they offer some powerful features that can give flagship earbuds a run for their money.

EarBuds X9 Specifications 

The Honor EarBuds X9 have 12.4mm composite diaphragm drivers, tuned for detailed audio performance. HONOR even boasts Golden Ear Product Certification from China’s Electronic Audio Industry Association. This is a clear sign that their audio is nothing like cheaper earbuds.

Honor has also included four custom audio profiles to enhance the music experience. Users can pick from Powerful Bass, Warm Vocals, Classical Soundtrack, and Bright High Notes according to their music taste and preference.

The most surprising and powerful feature is that the EarBuds X9 gets 49dB of active noise cancellation. Honor is seriously stepping up the ANC game with these budget earbuds. It also has dual mics and AI noise reduction for crystal-clear calls. Plus, spatial audio is included for a more immersive listening experience. All in all, the EarBuds X9 bring a host of premium features that are typically reserved for much more expensive earbuds, making them a surprisingly strong contender in the budget segment.\

The X9 earbuds also pack a 45mAh battery in each bud that gives up to 9 hours of playback. The 500mAh charging case extends total usage to 42 hours and a 10 minutes of charging gets around 3 hours of playback. 

Coming to more features, the earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC and AAC codec compatibility, along with Google Fast Pair for quick and seamless pairing. They also offer dual-device connectivity, making it easy to switch between devices. The EarBuds X9 come with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, making them a great fit for workouts. Each earbud weighs just 5.3g and is available in blue and white colour options.

The HONOR EarBuds X9 are now available in China, priced at 299 yuan (around Rs 3,547). There’s no word yet on their India launch, but considering Madhav Sheth recently confirmed that HONOR is here to stay in India, we could see these earbuds arrive alongside the new and powerful 400 series in the country soon.
