iQOO is gearing up to launch its next flagship, the iQOO 15, in China next month. Ahead of the debut, the Vivo sub-brand has confirmed one of the most anticipated aspects of the device – the display. The company revealed that the upcoming phone will feature a 2K Samsung “Everest” OLED screen powered by Samsung’s new M14 luminescent material, promising major improvements in efficiency and visual quality. news Also Read: Vivo, iQOO To Replace Funtouch OS With OriginOS 6 In India, Rollout Coming Soon

Display Upgrades Confirmed

According to iQOO, the Everest display has been tested at Vivo Labs and shown to deliver 40 percent higher luminous efficiency while consuming 44 percent less power compared to the previous generation and even extends the screen’s lifespan by 50 percent. On top of that, smearing is said to be reduced by 60 percent, which should make scrolling and gaming feel much smoother. news Also Read: iQOO 15 Specifications And Design Leaked Again: What's New?

Brightness levels are another big talking point. The Everest screen will reportedly hit 6,000 nits of local peak brightness and 2,600 nits across the full display, making it one of the brightest panels on any smartphone right now. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 3,200Hz instant touch response, ultra-low motion blur, and 8T LTPO for better efficiency. news Also Read: iQOO 15 Launching Soon With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, LED Camera Ring, And Sleek Design

iQOO is also paying attention to eye comfort. The display comes with three TÜV certifications – for flicker-free use, polariser-free design, and gaming eye protection. There’s also Eye Comfort 2.0 and an ultra-dim 1-nit sleep mode for late-night usage.

To round things off, the iQOO 15 will be powered by a new in-house Q3 gaming chip that promises enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay – clearly aimed at mobile gamers.

Interestingly, popular tipster UniverseIce has also claimed that Samsung’s M14 luminescent material will make its way to the Galaxy S26 Ultra next year, showing just how important this new screen tech could be.

With a focus on display quality and gaming, the iQOO 15 is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious launches from the brand so far.
