Asus ROG Phone 7 series model numbers
As per tipster Paras Guglani via Tech Outlook, the ROG Phone 7 series will have at least three phones – the ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7D, and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Also Read - Asus ProArt Mouse with Asus Dial support launched in India
The ROG Phone 7 and Phone 7 Ultimate will be reserved for the global markets. Following with be their model numbers – AI2205_A and AI2205_E, respectively.
Interestingly, there will be a model reserved for the Indian market. The device named ROG Phone 7 with model number AI2205_C is said to launch in India.
The company’s home market, China will get all three models. Following are the Chinese model numbers – ROG Phone 7 (AI2205_B), ROG Phone 7D (AI2205_D), and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate (AI2205_F).
Apart from the model numbers, the tipster has also revealed the key specs of the smartphone.
Asus ROG Phone 7 series specifications
The Asus ROG Phone 7 series is tipped to come with an AMOLED display. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage on the ROG Phone 7. The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will get a maximum of 512GB of internal storage.
Although not revealed, we can expect the device to have LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage given that it will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, under the hood. It will boot on Android 13 out of the box.
There’s no other information about the ROG Phone 7 series, but as we move closer to its release we should learn more.
Speaking of release, the gaming phone series is tipped to launch in Q3 of this year. Although this news is exciting, do take it with a pinch of salt as it is yet to be confirmed by Asus.
