How to get upcoming movie alerts with the Paytm app on Android and iOS

Paytm app lets you pay bills and send and receive payments from anyone via different payment methods. However, not many know that it also has a movie booking section within the app that not just lets you book movie tickets but also reminds you of upcoming movies. How to set movie alerts on PayTm

Paytm has a feature built in the movie section of the app that lets you set a reminder for the release of upcoming movies. You can set a specific movie as a reminder, if that’s what you are planning to do. Also Read: Paytm Postpaid On UPI Launched: Here’s How To Activate The New Pay Later Option

Before we see how to set alerts for upcoming movies, make sure you update the app. Once you have updated the app and are on the latest version follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open Paytm on your smartphone.

Step 2: Once you open the app, you should see the Movie Tickets option. It is located in the third row (while writing this article), swipe from left to right in the third row and you should find the option.

Step 3: Tap on Upcoming movies in the My Movies section.

Step 4: Now, you will be able to see all the movies. Scroll to the bottom to see what are the upcoming movies and their release dates.

Step 5: Tap on the Set Alert button below any Movie.

Step 6: Tap on Any Cinema or Select Theatres as you wish.

Step 7: If you tap on Select Theatres, you will have to choose the theatre where you want to watch the movie and confirm. Or, you can simply tap on confirm by selecting Any Cinema.

Now, whenever the movie gets released, you will be reminded so that you don’t miss it.
