Step 3: Opt for blocked numbers
From the call settings menu, find the ‘Blocked Numbers’ or ‘Call Blocking’ option. This is your personal tool for adding specific numbers that you want to prevent from reaching you.
Step 4: Prohibit a number
To bar an anonymous caller, opt for the ‘Add a Number’ or ‘Block List’ option. Input the number manualy, or if it’s lurking in your recent call logs or contacts, you can select it from there.
Step 5: Approve the Block
After punching in the number you would rather not hear from, finalise your choice by hitting ‘Block’ or ‘Add’. This course of action will ensure future calls from this number are autorejected.
Step 6: Turn on Caller ID and spam safeguard
To give your blocking a boost, consider switching on Caller ID and spam protection features on your Android phone. This duo can aid in identifying potential spam callers and blocking them even before they make a move.
Word of advice:
Don’t forget to consistently revise your blocked numbers list and tweak your settings as required to keep unwanted calls at arm’s length.
