Vivo has started the official sale of its latest X300 series smartphones in India. The lineup includes the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, both positioned as camera-focused flagships powered by MediaTek’s top-end Dimensity 9500 processor. Alongside the hardware upgrades, the X300 series also marks Vivo’s shift to Android 16-based OriginOS 6 in India, replacing Funtouch OS on its newer premium phones. The X300 is available in Elite Black, Mist Blue, and Summit Red colour options.

The X300 series feature ZEISS-backed camera setups. Both phones feature a 200MP sensor, though the implementation differs. The Vivo X300 Pro uses the 200MP sensor as a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, paired with a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The standard X300 uses the 200MP sensor as its main camera, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP 3x telephoto lens.
Both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. They ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6, bringing new lockscreen customisation options and live activity-style updates through Origin Island.
The Vivo X300 features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display and a 6040mAh battery, while the X300 Pro sports a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED panel and a 6510mAh battery. Both models support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging and come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
