If you are looking for premium headphones, Philips has a new headphones model for you. TPV Technology, one of the leading manufacturers of monitors and display panels, has announced new products in the audio segment with Philips TAH8506BK headphones. The new headphones have been manufactured by TPV under the license from Philips for branding. The company claims these new premium headphones offer HD and Ultra HD sound quality, along with a big battery life.
Apart from the flagship Philips TAH8506BK, TPV has also launched a range of other headphones that are priced lower. The range includes the Philips TAH6506BK, TAA4216BK, TAH4205XTBK & TAUH201BK headphones, available at respective prices of Rs 11,999, Rs 8,999, Rs 4,999, and Rs 1,990.
The Philips TAH8506BK headphones are priced at Rs 10,999 and will be available at “all leading online and offline stores” across the country. The date for the sale is, however, not clear.
The new Philips TAH8506BK headphones come with support for what the company calls the Active Noise Cancellation Pro. It uses adaptive active noise cancellation technology to adjust the level of noise cancellation and offers an adjustable ambient mode that lets you listen to the background per your need. Philips TAH8506BK headphones are Hi-res Audio compatible, meaning you can listen to lossless quality with the help of 40mm drivers inside the headphones.
The headphones also support multipoint Bluetooth connections, letting you connect two devices to them simultaneously. With swipe touch controls, you can switch the paired devices easily. TPV claims the new headphones come with preset 4 EQ levels — Bass, Voice, Power, and Travel. But if you want something of your own, you can customise the EQ levels using the Philips Headphones app, available for both Android and iOS.
The Philips TAH8506BK headphones come with a runtime of 60 hours on a single charge without ANC being turned on. With ANC, the playback time comes down to 45 hours. But with quick charge support, you can get 8 hours of playback time after a 15-minute charge.
