Thomson is expanding its premium TV lineup in India once again. At the centre of this lineup is a QLED 4K panel capable of reproducing 1.1 billion colours. The TVs support Dolby Vision and HDR10+, enhancing contrast and brightness for a more cinematic, true-to-life picture, the company claims. Thomson QLED MEMC 120Hz Smart TV Series: What Does It Offer?

The latest series of Thomson TVs features a 70W Dolby Audio stereo box speaker system with four built-in speakers, backed by Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus. On the software side, the TVs run Google TV 5.0, offering access to over 10,000+ apps and 500,000+ movies and shows from platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, YouTube, Zee5, and Sony LIV. Moreover, these models also offer a Google Assistant–powered remote with hotkeys for major streaming apps. All models feature a bezel-less AirSlim design, giving the TV a more premium look.

“The brand aims to deliver ‘cinematic and gaming-ready’ experiences at accessible prices. With the new QLED MEMC series and recent Mini LED launches, Thomson is clearly targeting the fast-growing premium TV segment driven by rising digital adoption and demand for better home entertainment,” Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO of SPPL (Thomson’s licensee in India), said during the launch.
