Xiaomi Mi 11X is getting new update
Xiaomi has started the HyperOS rollout to older phones, and the latest one in the lineup is the Mi 11X. This phone was launched in 2021 in India as a trimmed-down version of the Mi 11.
New features with new software
At the time of launch, the Xiaomi Mi 11X 5G came with MIUI 12, based on Android 11 operating system. The HyperOS update is based on Android 14, which has a bunch of new features, such as smart notifications, support for smart replies, new privacy features, and Material Design.

The Xiaomi Mi 11X series is receiving the HyperOS update, meaning both Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro are eligible for the update. The Mi 11X's HyperOS update has the build number OS1.0.1.0.TKHINXM, while the build number for Mi 11X Pro's HyperOS update is OS1.0.1.0.UKKINXM.
Mi 11X HyperOS update process
To update your Xiaomi Mi 11X, you can go to the phone settings and then head to the Software upgrade section. To receive the latest HyperOS upgrade, you must have the latest MIUI software on the Mi 11X. If your device is eligible for the upgrade, you will see the update. Make sure you have unlimited cellular date or Wi-Fi to download the update.

What s new in HyperOS
The new HyperOS update brings new animations, natural colours, and an all-new system font with support for multiple writings. The Weather app has been redesigned, while the Gallery app has received new editing features.

HyperOS for the Xiaomi Mi 11X is about 1.6GB in size, while the Mi 11X Pro's HyperOS update size is about 4.8GB. The new updates also pack April 2024 security patches.

The Mi 11X has a 6.67-inch AMOLED Dot Display with a Full-HD+ resolution with support for HDR10+, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi 11X camera and battery details
The rear camera system on the Xiaomi Mi 11X includes a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP telephoto camera. The smartphone has a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi Mi 11X has a 4520mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
