Google is one of the top companies working on AI features to make our digital life convenient. It has a slew of AI features that you can use across its apps and services.
Google's Gemini AI model powers most of these features. Let's see the top five AI tools you can use to organize your digital life.
Google Photos has an AI feature that backs up your photos and videos from the photo gallery and organizes them by categories like places, trips, food, people, etc. Once the photos are backed up on the cloud, you can clean up your photo gallery in one tap. You can do that by clicking on your profile in the upper right corner, followed by tapping on the 'Free up space' option.
If you aren't already using Gmail, it's time you should. Gmail's tabbed inbox uses AI to sort emails for you. New emails will automatically be categorised into the five following categories: Primary, Promotions, Social, Updates, and Forums. To enable this feature, you can tap on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner, then scroll down and open Settings, followed by tapping the Inbox type tab. Lastly, tap on Default Inbox.
Google's Gemini AI is free and it can help you do things that you may find difficult. It can help you brainstorm ideas before your next meeting starts and get them exported into a Google Sheet. Gemini can also help create a to-do list. That said, you can use it as an assistant to organize and help you in your daily life.
Those who have Google's One AI Premium plan can use Gemini in several Google apps like Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and other places. Use it in Gmail to draft emails, or perhaps get its help to write your next speech. You can also track finances in Sheets using Gemini AI.
Google Chrome has a new AI feature that can organize tabs for you. Instead of cluttering your browsing experience, you can simply let Chrome organize tabs that it thinks are similar. To find this feature, you can tap the drop-down button in the upper left corner of your screen on your desktop. Then, click on the Organize tab and in one click your can declutter your Chrome experience.
Apart from this, Google is also testing some other AI features that you can use to make your digital life convenient. It is testing the SGS (Search Generative Experience) feature, which you can try on Chrome. It offers a summary from several articles on the web giving you just the information you need.
