Apart from the major redesign in the app, Apple apps are also expected to see visual and functional tweaks based on leaks and rumours. Here is what to expect:
Phone App: A new optional layout that combines recent calls, favourites, and voicemails into a single scrollable screen is expected to come.
Safari: The look of Safari is also expected to have a sleeker and more transparent address bar.
Camera App: Leaks suggest that the Camera app may have a simplified layout focusing mainly on Photo and Video modes. Basic tools like flash toggles may sit at the top, while advanced settings could move into sub-menus.
Messages: Support for polls and custom chat backgrounds could be introduced, bringing it closer to popular messaging apps like WhatsApp.
Music: Animated album art may show up on the lock screen while music plays.
Notes: Users might finally be able to export notes in Markdown format.
Preview App: PDF annotation tools from macOS may arrive on iOS.
Apple is also reportedly working on a new Game app that will act as a hub for all your games, with tabs like Home, Library, Arcade, and Leaderboards.
