Redmi launched its flagship K90 series in China on Thursday (October 23). The lineup includes two smartphones – Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. While the standard model packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the K90 Pro Max gets the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The Redmi K90 Pro Max is offered in three colourways – Denim, Golden White, and Black. The Xiaomi sub-brand also launched a Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition, made in collaboration with Lamborghini Squadra Corse.

Redmi K90 Specifications, Features

Redmi K90 sports a 6.59-inch OLED screen with 1,156 x 2,510 pixels resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nits peak brightness, and a minimum brightness level of 1 nit. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Internally, the Redmi K90 runs on last year’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of onboard storage.

In terms of cameras, the Redmi K90 gets a triple rear lens setup with a 50MP 1/1.55-inch main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP telephoto sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera.

The Redmi K90 is backed by a 7,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

Redmi K90 Pro Max Specifications, Features

Redmi K90 Pro Max features a larger 6.9-inch OLED screen with 1,200 x 2,608 pixels resolution. All other display features are similar to the standard model. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The K90 Pro Max is equipped with a 2.1 triple-speaker stereo system tuned by Bose.

For photography, the flagship features a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP 1/1.31-inch main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. It is accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide shooter and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The phone can shoot 8K resolution videos at 30fps. The front of the K90 Pro Max houses a 32MP HD portrait selfie camera.

The device packs a 7,560mAh battery that supports 100W fast wired and 50W wireless charging.
