Motorola has silently launched the Moto G100 in China, appealing to users looking for an all-around package with good daily performance and battery life without breaking the bank. The new phone is firmly a mid-range phone, but there are a couple of sensible enhancements to differentiate itself. Moto G100 Specifications, Features

The Moto G100 comes with a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is bright enough to use outdoors even though it is only IPS LCD with a peak of 1,050 nits and DC dimming to reduce eye strain. The phone also features dual stereo speakers to help enhance the media playback experience. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor built on a 4nm process. It’s paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There’s no microSD card slot this time, but most users should find the onboard storage sufficient.

Perhaps one of the biggest highlights with the Moto G100 is the large 7,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast wired charging. Motorola says the phone can easily last up to two days on moderate use. It runs Android 15 out of the box with Motorola’s clean and lightweight software experience.

In the camera department, the Moto G100 features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide macro lens. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 32MP front camera. The Moto G100 also includes NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a graphite cooling system, and is rated IP64 for splash resistance. The Moto G100 also features an air nano leather back that contributes to the soft touch and premium feel.

The Moto G100 is priced at CNY 1,399 (approx. Rs 17,400) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The Moto G100 is available in three colour options – Obsidian Black, Sky Blue, and Emerald Green.
