Apple has announced a special event for next month, a month before the WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference). The special Apple event will be held on May 7 at 7 AM PT (7:30 PM IST) and will be streamed live on apple.com. But what to expect from this event? Here’s what to expect from the upcoming Apple Special event

The Apple event is set is set for May 7, which is not too far away. The media invite has a hint as to what to expect at the event. It shows a pencil with an Apple logo in different colours. This reveals that new iPads may be announced at the event. While Apple hasn’t confirmed what iPads, rumours suggest new Pro models with larger screens. An 11-inch iPad Pro and a 13-inch iPad Pro have been in the rumour mill for some time. The latter, if arrives, will be the biggest iPad. As of now, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is the biggest size available. Both models will feature OLED screens with high refresh rate support akin to existing Pro models. More details regarding the chipset and other features should be revealed soon. And of course, both models will support Apple Pencil, as hinted by the image shared by Apple.

Other than the Pro models, expect a new iPad Air with a larger 12.9-inch screen size. This will be a big upgrade for those who don’t want to spend a lot on an iPad, but still desire a larger iPad.

Apart from this, Apple may also make some other announcements at the event. However, since we do not know much, we’ll have to wait till further details emerge.
