AMD has recently introduced its Ryzen 9000 series processors in the Indian market. The series is based on Zen 5 architecture and promises better rendering and gaming than the predecessors. The series consists of 4 processors – Ryzen 5 9600X, Ryzen 7 9700X, Ryzen 9 9900X, and Ryzen 9 9950X.
The starting price of the series in the Indian market is Rs 28,190 and it goes up to Rs 64,990 for the high-end variant. The customers who want to buy the processors will have to wait until next month. All the processors will be available for purchase via Amazon India and authorized computer hardware retailers.
All the processors by AMD use AM5 sockets and perform 16% more efficiently than the Zen 4 CPUs. These processors are specifically crafted to manage virtual machines, 3D rendering, and other heavy-duty tasks. They are optimized for gaming and can produce unmatchable frame rates for AAA games.
AMD Ryzen 5 9600X comes with 6 cores and 12 threads with a base clock speed of 3.9GHz and an upper limit of 5.4GHz. The Ryzen 7 9700X comes with 8 cores and 16 threads with a base clock speed of 3.8GHz and upper limit at 5.5GHz. The AMD Ryzen 9 9900X includes 12 cores and 24 threads with a base clock speed of 4.4GHz and a higher limit of 5.6GHz. The flagship CPU Ryzen 9 9950X gets 16 cores and 32 threads with a base clock speed of 4.3GHx and an upper limit of 5.7Hz.
Apart from that, the processors are compatible with high-speed VRAM and, the latest graphics cards and also include PCIe 5.0 support. They support up to 80MB of L1 cache and can deliver the best latency in large applications and games. And the best part is that all four CPUs from the Ryzen 9000 series are unlocked and support overclocking.
