Vivo V27 series confirmed to launch in India soon: Check details

After several rumors, Vivo has finally confirmed the launch of its upcoming mid-range smartphone series in India. The Vivo V27 series will go official soon in the market. This time around, the brand is marketing the product with the hashtag ‘TheSpotlight Phone’ due to its ring LED flashlight on the back.

The Vivo V27 series appears to have similarities in terms of design with the Vivo S16 series. For the uninitiated, the S16 series was launched in December 2022 in China.

Vivo V27 India launch details, models, availability

The Vivo V27 series will launch in India soon. The company has already created a landing page for the phone on Flipkart. Unfortunately, the exact release date is unknown. However, since the promotional campaign has been pushed, expect the smartphone series to launch in the next few weeks.

The Vivo V27 series will have at least two phones – the vanilla Vivo V27 and the Vivo V27 Pro. Both phones will be made available in the mid-range and upper mid-range segments in the country.

Vivo V27 specifications (rumored)

The Vivo V27 series will come with a refreshed design. The major change will be on the back, where the camera island will be slightly tweaked. It will also get a ring LED flashlight, which will be the main highlight of the phone.

If rumors are to be believed, the Vivo V27 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The non-Pro model may not have a curved panel but could feature a high refresh rate screen.

The V27 duo will come with OIS support on the rear camera. One of the phones in the series will have a 50MP Sony IMX766 main lens. Both phones are expected to have 66W fast charging support.

The Vivo V27 Pro may come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 SoC. The duo will boot on Android 13 OS out of the box with FuntouchOS 13 on top.
