While there’s no official information from the brand, OnePlus might as well release a flip phone. For starters, two trademark filings for OnePlus phones were spotted sometime back.
These trademarks were for two of the OnePlus foldable models – the OnePlus V Fold and the OnePlus V Flip. You read that right, OnePlus also has a flip phone up its sleeve.
The OnePlus V Fold will likely compete with the yet-to-launch Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, whereas, the OnePlus V Flip will go against the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.
As of now, only the monikers have been revealed. No information about the specs is available. However, there are reports that indicate these OnePlus foldables to be inspired by Oppo foldables.
Oppo currently has the Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip, which were launched in December 2022, in China. The company is expected to showcase these devices at the MWC to the global markets.
If we go by the reports, the upcoming OnePlus V Fold and V Flip could be rebadged devices.
