OnePlus is all set to launch its latest premium smartphone – the OnePlus 15 – in India today. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset – making it the first phone in the country with the flagship chipset. With OnePlus 15, the company introduces its new imaging engine – DetailMax – moving away from its long-standing partner Hasselblad. OnePlus 15 will launch in India today (November 13) at 7 p.m. IST. The event will be broadcast live on the company’s official YouTube channel, website, and social media. According to a leaked listing on a retailer website, the OnePlus 15 could start at Rs 72,999 for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant could be priced at Rs 79,999.
The device is expected to be offered in three colourways – Infinite Black, Ultra Violet, and Sand Storm. As mentioned, the OnePlus 15 will go on sale after the launch at 8 p.m. IST through Amazon and OnePlus’ online store.
OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch flexible LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1,272 x 2,772 pixels), a 165Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits peak brightness. For durability, the screen sports a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 layer, and the phone comes with IP66/68/69/69K certification for dust and water resistance.
Internally, the OnePlus 15 runs on the Qualcomm-made flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
For photography, the OnePlus 15 sports a triple rear camera system – powered by its DetailMax Image Engine. The setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. On the front, it features a 32MP selfie shooter.
The OnePlus 15 is backed by a 7,300mAh battery with 100W fast wired and 50W wireless charging support. It will ship with Android 16-based OxygenOS 16.
