OnePlus has officially started rolling out the stable OxygenOS 16 update for the flagship OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s in India. The OnePlus 13 is receiving the CPH2649_16.0.0.210 (EX01) build, while the OnePlus 13s is getting CPH2723_16.0.0.211 (EX01). OxygenOS 16 brings a refreshed UI across the system. You’ll notice smoother transitions and drag-and-drop animations when moving apps, widgets, or folders. Even the Smart Sidebar now reacts more naturally to gestures. The icons and home screen grid have also been refined for a tidier layout. You can even resize icons and folders for a more personalised setup. Also Read: OnePlus 15 Launch Date In India Confirmed! Set To Launch Ahead Of iQOO 15
Apart from the looks, this update also focuses on performance. There’s also a new network power-saving mode that reduces background activity when you’re offline or roaming. The power-saving mode now adapts based on battery levels to stretch your screen time without slowing things down.
OnePlus is focusing on AI features this time. The new Mind Space feature lets you save notes, screenshots, or even quick thoughts using voice commands. You can now long-press the Plus key to record voice memos directly into Mind Space. On the other hand, the AI Writer tool helps you draft short notes, captions, or summaries right from your phone. It is like an in-built AI for writing on your phone. Moreover, the Recorder app now uses AI noise cancellation to make voices in your recordings clearer.
Your Photos app also gets new gestures, as you can swipe up to view details like storage location or date simply. One of the interesting tools of all is the built-in video editor that adds new options like trimming, merging, transitions, and background music, which almost removes the need for a separate third-party video editing app.
