
Nothing has officially launched the all-new Nothing Phone 2a Plus in the market, 4 months after launching the original Phone 2a. The new Plus model has no design change but it comes with a few pluses. The major highlight of the Phone 2a Plus is a new chipset, slightly faster charging, and an upgraded selfie camera. Nothing Phone 2a Plus is priced at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant and Rs 29,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. There’s no 128GB base option like the regular Phone 2a. As for offers, buyers get a Rs 2,000 discount on all credit and debit card non-EMI and EMI transactions.
The Phone 2a Plus comes in two colour options – Black and Metallic Grey. The device competes with the OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus GT 6T, Motorola Edge 50 Pro, and others.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus comes in two new colours that make the device look slightly different than the Phone 2a. The Metallic Grey colour, especially, gives the device a dual-tone look. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. The punch-hole panel supports 1.07 billion colours and has a 120Hz refresh rate. It has 2.1mm symmetrical bezels on all four sides and boasts 1300 nits of peak brightness.
The smartphone has a gets a new selfie camera. It flaunts a new 50MP front camera over the 32MP selfie snapper on the Phone 2a. There’s a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP lens and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of shooting 4K videos. There’s Optical Image Stabilization for the main camera on the back.
Under the hood, there’s a new 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7350 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support, up from 45W fast charging. The device is advertised to offer up to two days of battery life with moderate usage. It runs on Android 14 OS and has Nothing OS 2.6 on top.
