As per a screenshot shared on X (formerly Twitter), the device is on the latest Nothing OS 2.5.5 update. The update was released recently to Phone 2a. Now, it’s unclear if the update caused the issue or if there are some other things in play here. Nothing is also yet to broadly respond on the issue probably because this is the first case for Phone 2a.
In the past, we have seen green tint issues on Nothing Phone 1, however, no major green line issues were spotted. That said, it remains to be seen what Nothing does in the case of the Phone 2a’s green line display issue.
As for those who own a Nothing Phone 2a and haven’t updated to Nothing OS 2.5.5, you may not have to worry as this is just the first case. Many people have already updated their Phone 2a to the latest update but haven’t noticed a green line. However, users can still be cautious and wait for Nothing to respond to the issue.
