MediaTek Dimensity 6400 released with basic improvements

MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor has made a debut in the global market. It will serve as the successor to Dimensity 6300 SoC which was launched last year. The latest mid-range processor from MediaTek is built on the 6nm process of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). The processor will support up to 108MP primary shooter and a 120Hz refresh rate on an FHD panel coupled with 5G connectivity support. Mediatek Dimensity 6400: All that it packs

The MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor is an octa-core 6n processor that consists of two ARM Cortex-A76 cores at a 2.5GHz clock speed and six Cortex-A55 cores at a 2GHz clock speed. The processor is paired with Arm MAli-G57 MC2 GPU and it supports LPDDR4X RAM along with UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device also gets support for FHD+ AMOLED panel with 1080×2520 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The processor will be able to house a 108MP primary sensor as well. The MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC comes with a 3GPP Release 16-compliant 5G modem (that offers up to 3.3 Gbps peak download speed) and 5G (SA/NSA), 4G LTE, 2G, 3G, and more. The processor also includes dual-band GPS connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, and WiFi 5. And Realme P3x 5G has become the first device to ship with the mentioned processor. As for the smartphone, the Realme P3x ships with a 6.72-inch FHD+ display coupled with 120Hz refresh rate. The device brings 8GB RAM along with 10GB virtual RAM expansion. The device also gets a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter. It is available in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 13,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
