The iQOO 15 is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about flagships of the season. While Vivo is rumoured to launch the X300 series on October 13 in China, its sub-brand iQOO has started teasing its own next big release. Recent posts from iQOO Product Manager Galant V on Weibo have confirmed some key upgrades for the iQOO 15, particularly in the display department, and a new leak has given us a peek at its rear design. The standout feature of the iQOO 15 will be its Samsung 2K Everest AMOLED screen, also known as the NB Plus panel. Measuring roughly 6.85 inches, this new display promises improved transparency, combining high brightness, rich colour accuracy, strong contrast, and better light transmission efficiency. The result, iQOO claims, will be sharper and clearer visuals compared to most current flagship devices. Samsung’s advanced OLED panel also uses updated emission materials, giving the iQOO 15 an impressive brightness range from 1 nit all the way up to 6,000 nits. That means it can comfortably handle everything from dim indoor environments to direct outdoor sunlight without losing clarity. On top of that, iQOO is introducing AR anti-reflection coating on the display – a feature Apple only recently brought to its iPhone 17 Pro Max – making the screen even more versatile. The smartphone is tipped to debut the industry’s largest 8K vapour chamber cooling system, ensuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset can sustain peak performance without heating issues. This makes it clear that the iQOO 15 will cater to users who want both gaming-level performance and a premium multimedia experience.
Meanwhile, a leaked image has emerged on Chinese social media – giving us a glimpse of the iQOO 15’s rear panel. The image shows a white-to-red gradient finish with rounded corners. This suggests that iQOO might be moving in a new direction with its fresh-looking design for the flagship.
