Huawei has finally launched the world’s first triple fold smartphone named Huawei Mate XT. The smartphone has made a debut in the Chinese market as of now. Talking about the pricing, the smartphone has broken all the records as it is selling for 19,999 Yuan which converts to Rs 2,35,000. The first sale of the smartphone is scheduled to be held on September 20. It has three variants based on the internal storage – 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Huawei Mate XT specifications and features

Huawei Mate XT features a 6.4-inch OLED display in the folded state. In the unfolded state, the device has a 10.2-inch display. And the phone is not a lot thick, with 3.6mm thickness, the Huawei triple fold phone is one of the thinnest devices available in the market. One of the most intriguing parts about the device is that Huawei has not revealed the processor it is carrying. By the looks of it, industry experts have mentioned that the device houses the Kirin 9000s processor. The Huawei Mate XT sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 12MP telephoto sensor with 5,5x optical zoom. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with an 8MP front sensor. It is powered by a 5,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.

The smartphone is no doubt one of the best innovations of the recent years. However, chances are that it will not be launched in the global market and will only revolve in the Chinese market. Hopefully, if only the feature is worth it, we can see tech tycoons like Samsung or OnePlus giving a try to the triple-fold smartphone tech.
