Google Pixel 9 full specs sheet leaked: Here's everything you need to know

Google has scheduled a launch next month to unveil the much-awaited Google Pixel 9 series. The company will bring the Pixel 9 phones, including the foldable smartphone to India. Ahead of the series’ launch, the full specs sheet, including the marketing materials has been leaked. The upcoming Pixel 9 phones will come with an updated design and have several improvements over the existing models. Let’s see everything we know about the Pixel 9 series before launch.

Google Pixel 9 series design and specifications

The Google Pixel 9 series will comprise the Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro/XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. All the models will have rounded corners and a protruded camera island. The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will have dual and triple cameras on the back placed horizontally. The 9 Pro Fold will have triple cameras placed in two separate rows, adding to its rear design.

As per the details shared with 91Mobiles by OnLeaks, the Pixel 9 will be sporting a 6.3-inch Actua display, the Pixel 9 Pro will have a 6.3-inch Super Actual display, whereas, the XL model will have a 6.8-inch Super Actua panel. The 9 Pro Fold will get an 8-inch Super Actua Flex primary display. It will have a 6.3-inch Actua panel on the front, which will be the cover screen.

Following will likely be the camera specs of the Pixel 9 series: Pixel 9 – 50MP + 48MP UW dual-rear camera, Pixel 9 Pro and XL – 50MP + 48MP UW + 48MP Tele triple-rear camera system. The 9 Pro Fold will get a 48MP + 10.5MP UW + 10.8 Tele triple camera setup on the back. Upfront, the Pixel 9 will get a 105-inch selfie snapper. The 9 Pro and XL will have a 42MP selfie camera. The 9 Pro Fold will feature a 10MP selfie unit.

As for the performance, the series is tipped to be powered by a Tensor G4 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM in the Pixel 9 and up to 16GB of RAM in the rest of the models. The Pixel 9 devices are also said to get the Exynos 5400 modem that will enable satellite connectivity. Google quietly revealed the “Satellite SOS” menu in its recent update and removed it sometime later.

The Pixel 9 series will indeed be fueled by AI. Expect several AI-centric features, including the existing ones and some new ones. The series will also boot on the latest Androdi 15 OS out of the box and have seven years of software and security updates.

Google Pixel 9 India price expectations

Keep your Pixel 9 price expectations in check as the series could be pricier. The Pixel 8 started at Rs 75,999 and the Pro began at Rs 1,06,999. This year there are four models, so the pricing may differ significantly as Google will have to place these phones right in different segments. The Pixel 9 Fold, which is also making its way to India, will indeed be the costliest one, competing directly with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6.
