Just like the popular e-commerce platform, Amazon, Paytm also allows users to buy gift cards for their friends and family. The digital payments app offers gift cards across several categories including fashion & accessories, grocery & essentials, food & ordering, jewellery brands to furniture & electronics, OTT & recharges, and daily cabs & travel.

As for the brands, you can find gift cards from 200+ brands that include Myntra, Pantaloons, Bata, Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Allen Solly, Decathlon, Levi’s, United Colors of Benetton, Zomato, Van Heusen, Domino’s and more. Users also have a choice to redeem it for Paytm Wallet Balance. Notably, these gift cards have long validity, can be used online and in-store and can be redeemed while making purchases on the app.

For the unversed, the gift cards can be purchased via different payment methods like Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI, Paytm Postpaid, netbanking, debit and credit cards.

How to buy gift cards on Paytm

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can buy a gift card

  1. Open the Paytm app and go to ‘All Services’ in the next box below ‘UPI Money Transfer’
  2. Tap on the ‘Gift Cards’ option and select the category from which you wish to buy.
  3. Choose the brand, and select the gift card value.
  4. Browse through the available offers to earn cashback, and cashback points. Tap on ‘Buy’. 
  5. Receive Gift Card details and rewards instantly

Now you can just visit the brand store or the website or the app. You can simply redeem the Gift card online or in-store to pay shopping bills.

Additionally, Paytm has announced its business operating performance for the third quarter in FY23, saying its robust growth continues with Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) for Q3FY23 at Rs 3.46 lakh crore.

The company said it continues to reign the market in offline payments with 5.8 million merchants now paying subscriptions for payment devices, while user engagement also continues to grow.
