IPL 2024 update: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will begin today with the opening ceremony taking place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai at 6:30PM today. The opening ceremony will be followed by the toss at 7:30PM and first cricket match of the IPL 2024 season at 8PM. As per the scheduled share by IPL, the first match of the season will take place between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). IPL fans and cricket enthusiasts will be able to watch RCB vs CSK match live at the cricket stadium in Chennai. Alternatively, they will also be able to watch this match and other matches that will be played throughout the season from the comfort of their homes for free.

To make the IPL 2024 more accessible to all the fans and enthusiasts, Jio Cinema has announced that it will be streaming the match live on its platform, that is the Jio Cinema app and its web-based platform. The company made the announcement via a post on its official channel on X (formerly Twitter). “Aap bhi 22nd March ko JioCinema par #CSKvRCB ka poora mazaa lena, free mein!,” Jio Cinema wrote in the post.

Jio Cinema has also updated its official website to make it easier for IPL 2024 fans to watch the match, snippets from the match and the highlights for free. Fans can click on the Tata IPL tab to watch the match online. In addition to that, fans can also watch the IPL 2024 opening ceremony on JioCinema.
