How to Set Up Sleep Schedules in iOS 18: Wake Up to Wellness

The body and mind need enough rest. However, a regular and consistent sleep pattern can only be observed on par in today’s society, where everyone focuses on the work schedule. Fortunately, iOS devices have some pre-installed applications that will assist you in creating and following regular sleep schedules.

Here’s how you can set up sleep schedules in iOS:

STEP1: Unlock your iPhone or iPad and open the Health app on it. It comes as an integrated application enclosed with every iOS device. Navigate to the Browse tab at the screen’s bottom and select Sleep.

STEP2: Data on used devices is presented here, so if you spend a lot of time using your devices at night, the app will show you how sleepy you have been. If you are a new user, there is likely little information to detect if you have not followed your sleeping pattern.

STEP3: Click Full Schedule & Options. Switch on Set Up Sleep Schedule and then tap Full Schedule. It lets you define your perfect bedtime and wake-up time for each day, for the entire week.

STEP4: Modify the times to sleep and wake up at your convenience.

STEP5: To get even more personalization, go back to the Sleep screen of the Health app and tap on Options.

STEP6: This will allow configuring the goal of the night sleep, further tweaking the schedule, and enabling sleep notifications and bedtime reminders that will let iOS gently remind users that it is time to start getting to bed.

STEP7: Adhering to a schedule can be difficult, so use the bedtime option on an iPhone’s clock application. It plays music and fades the display to black to prepare you for a nap. Press the Options button to set up your preference for activities before sleep.

STEP8: My favorite is the notion that irregularity is the enemy of good Sleep. Enable iOS to track Sleep and wake you up at the right time in the night.
