How to Deactivate or Permanently Delete Your X (Twitter) Account: Step-By-Step Guide

Deleting X or formerly Twitter is quite a simple task. However, you cannot delete your X account instantly. First you have to deactivate and then wait for 30 days. Deactivating Twitter is very easy. You just need to follow few simple steps:

STEP1: The first step involves tapping on your account icon in the top left corner of your screen.

STEP2: Now go to settings and support option

STEP3: The next step follows tapping on the Settings and Privacy option

STEP4: Tap on your account.

STEP5: Now you will see the option of ‘Deactivate Account’

STEP6: Read the information carefully and click on ‘Deactivate’ option.

STEP7: The final step involves entering your password and then tap Deactivate.

STEP8: Now your X account is deactivated.
