Lok Sabha Election 2024: Lok Sabha Election 2024 are about to end. While the polling for the sixth phase of election will take place on May 8 across 58 constituencies in eight states, polling for the seventh or last phase of the elections will take place on June 1 across 57 constituencies in eight states. On the upcoming election dates, registered voters can either use the physical or digital copies of their voter ID cards or EPIC (Election Photo ID Card) as an identity proof to cast their votes. This means, registered voters who do not have the physical copy of their voter ID cards can use e-EPIC for casting their votes.

Here is a step-by-step guide of how you can download voter ID card online.

How to download voter ID card

Step 1: Open Voters’ Service Portal on your PC. Alternatively, you can click here to access the portal.

Step 2: Click the login button in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Enter your mobile number, password and captcha code. Then click on the ‘Request OTP’ button.

Step 4: Enter the OTP that you received on your registered mobile number and then click on the ‘Verify & Login’ button.

Step 5: Next, click on the ‘E-EPIC Download’ tab that is placed towards the right side of the display.

Step 6: Click on the EPIC number or Form Reference Number option.

Step 7: Enter EPIC number or Form Reference Number and then select the State.

Step 8: Click on the Search button. After this, your voter ID details will be displayed on the screen.

Step 9: Now click the ‘Send OTP’ button.

Step 10: Enter the OTP that you received on your registered mobile number and then click the ‘Verify’ button.

Step 11: Now click the ‘Download e-EPIC’ button to download your voter ID card.

How to download voter ID using Voter Helpline app

Step 1: Download the Voter Helpline App by the Election Commission of India. The app is available for download on Google‘s Play Store and Apple’s App Store both.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Personal Vault’ option.

Step 3: Click on the Login button.

Step 4: Enter your registered mobile number and password. Then click on ‘Request OTP’ button.

Step 5: Enter the OTP that you received on your registered mobile number and then click the ‘Login’ button.

Step 6: Lastly, click the ‘Download’ button to download your e-EPIC on your mobile phone.
