Players don’t need an Xbox console to get started. By using the Xbox app or visiting the Cloud Gaming website, users can access cloud-supported titles through Game Pass. The only requirements are a stable internet connection (above 20 Mbps) and a supported controller, such as an Xbox Wireless controller or Sony’s DualSense. Some games also support touch or keyboard and mouse controls, depending on the device. Also Read: Microsoft Patches Windows 11 Bug That Broke USB Devices: Here's What To Do
Xbox Cloud Gaming will allow players to resume their game from where they left off across different devices. Microsoft has extended the feature to select owned games as well, in addition to several Xbox titles in the Game Pass library that already support cloud play.
The cloud gaming option will also work on Windows-based handhelds like the Asus ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, both of which recently debuted in India.
Microsoft’s Game Pass Essential plan is priced at Rs 499 per month, offering over 50 games and access to cloud streaming. The Premium and Ultimate tiers cost Rs 699 and Rs 1,389 respectively, with the Ultimate plan including day-one releases. The Premium plan offers access to over 200 games, while the Ultimate tier notches it up to 400+ games. Meanwhile, PC Game Pass is available at Rs 939 per month.
With this launch, India joins the growing list of regions where Xbox Cloud Gaming is officially available.
