The second half of the gaming market looks like a season of remastered games. While we are hearing rumors about the transformers games remaster, Lego Harry Potter is here with an official announcement. Warner Bros. Games announced that Lego Harry Potter is getting remastered for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. The remastered version of the game will make it to the platforms on October 8, 2024. The remaster will include Lego Harry Potter: Years 1 to 4 and Lego Harry Potter: Years 5 to 7.

The announcement came in the Back to Hogwarts event on September 1, 2024. The remastered version of the game will get better graphics coupled with 4K resolution. Double Eleven is working on the remasters and it is being said that the game will also have haptic feedback, 60fps support, and high-resolution shadow maps.

Lego Harry Potter Collection details

Warner Bros. has confirmed that all the players who have the PS4 or Xbox One version of the game can get the remastered one at discounted prices. Furthermore, players who have the PC version of the games will also get considerable discounts.

As for the game, in the first part, you can play Harry, Ron, Hermoine, and other characters in the game. It is the perfect depiction of Harry Potter’s story minus all the serious with Lego’s graphics and narration. The game allows you to explore the Hogwarts castle, Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, etc. You can even cast spells on people and indulge in co-op gameplay too.

The second part of the collection is based on the last four Harry Potter films. Here, you will get to experience the legendary adventures of Harry filled with new challenges and a plethora of magic. And if you are a potterhead, then don’t forget to try Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions which is set to release on September 3 for multiple platforms.
