If you have a PlayStation, then know the popular Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) could soon be making its way back to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue this November. According to reliable tipster Billbil-kun, who has a strong track record of accurate leaks, Rockstar’s open-world game is expected to join the PS Plus lineup on November 18, 2025, a report by Dealabs suggested. This won’t be the first time GTA 5 appears in the PS Plus library. The game was previously offered in December 2023 and again in November 2024, both times for a limited period. So, it looks like Rockstar and Sony are bringing it back for another round, likely for about six months, similar to its past appearances. GTA 5 first arrived back in 2013 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and since then, it has made its way across multiple console generations. Each version brought better visuals, smoother gameplay, and more content for GTA Online. More than a decade later, it still continues to be one of the most played and best-selling games worldwide.
GTA 5’s return to PS Plus also comes at an interesting time! Just recently, Rockstar confirmed yet another delay for Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), which is now set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. With the next big title still a year away, bringing GTA 5 back to the subscription lineup feels like a smart move, which will keep players connected to the world of Los Santos. However, the excitement for the GTA 6 is still live and the wait seems to be a little longer now!
