Backbone One gaming controller launched in India; Check price, specs, availability

The Backbone One gaming controller has finally made a debut in the Indian market. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The controller promises to deliver a console-like experience on smartphones.

The device also brings a Premium variant which can also be paired with Steam Link, Xbox, and PlayStation remote control apps to experience PC games on a smartphone. The controller is available in the Indian market for a price of Rs 7,769. However, if you want to buy the Premium variant, then you will be supposed to spend around Rs 12,499.

Backbone One Gaming Controller features

As for the working, the Backbone One Gaming Controller can be attached to your phone and it has adjustable clips. The controller is compatible with devices of all sizes and shapes. It comes with two joysticks on each side, a D-pad, and directional buttons. The controller also has four buttons that can be used to launch games and perform other actions with the controller like gameplay recording.

The vanilla variant of the controller ships with USB Type-C and lightning port options. The device also has a 3.5mm audio jack which can be used to connect headphones. It is backed by a low-latency Bluetooth connection for a super-smooth gaming experience. The controller supports most of the popular titles like GTA San Andreas, Diablo Immortal, Genshin Impact, COD Mobile, and more.

The Premium variant has the same design and features as the base one. Additionally, it also works well with games like Starfield, Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and a lot more. The same can also be used to play games via Xbox Remote Play, PlayStation Remote Play, and Steam Link.

Now, from a consumer’s point of view, the controller can look a little expensive as you can get a DualShockers controller near the same price range. Nonetheless, the device could work as a game changer for avid smartphone gamers with its aesthetic chassis and funtionality.
