Artificial Intelligence is one of the rising debates from the past few years, and its role in creative industries has reached a point where now everything seems to be created using AI. In this regard, a leading AI audio startup, named ElevenLabs, has launched an ambitious new tool in order to reshape how music can be created and used. The company has unveiled a tool called Eleven Music, which is designed to generate music by giving simple commands and text descriptions.
ElevenLabs is one of the leading companies that’s already making waves for its AI voice technology and multilingual speech tools. Now, the company has launched a new tool-Eleven Music that expands deeper into audio and voice innovation. As per company’s CEO Mati Staniszewsk, company’s move into music creation was a logical decision.
He says, “We’ve heard massive demand from our enterprise partners and users for a music model like this… and we’re proud to introduce Eleven Music in collaboration with key players in the music industry.”

To train and build the Eleven Music model, the company collaborated and partnered with several digital music publishing platforms. Companies like Merlin Network and Kobalt Music Group are playing a crucial role in the current scenario where AI models are often criticized for using copyrighted data without permission. Nevertheless, the collaboration of Eleven Music and these companies are different as they are working closely with independent musicians.
This collaboration works in a ethical AI development in the music space.
One of the standout aspects of Eleven Music and its collaboration with other music platforms is that it made its clearance for commercial usage of music. This means users can generate music and tracks for business purposes, advertisements, and content creation. Additionally, they can also use it for personal ventures, that too without worrying about legal roadblocks.
The company has also announced that they are working for a more advanced version, dubbed, Eleven Music Pro. It will launch in the coming months.
The current Eleven Music version that can be used for business purposes is priced at 50 cents per minute for generating music.
