PhonePe Teams Up With OpenAI for Smarter App Experience
PhonePe has partnered with the AI giant OpenAI, which seems to be working to bring ChatGPT features to the platform. While announcing it in a press release, PhonePe has announced that this collaboration will enable ChatGPT features on the PhonePe platform. The report added, “The collaboration has the potential to further enhance the user experience on the PhonePe platform by offering smarter and relevant information on everyday needs, from planning their travel to shopping.” Also Read: Did ChatGPT Go Too Far? The partnership seems to be a helping hand, especially for the users, as ChatGPT will make the experience better. The AI features on PhonePe will help you find relevant information for your day-to-day needs. Whether it is about making a purchase, your metro ticket booking or planning your next trip — it will help you in a lot of ways. “Our collaboration with PhonePe is a significant milestone in our mission to make AI more accessible to people throughout India. India is a global hub for innovation, and PhonePe’s deep understanding of the country’s fabric and its user base make them the ideal partner,” Oliver Jay, Head of International at OpenAI, said in a press release.
The partnership of OpenAI with PhonePe comes at a crucial point when the AI giant is planning to expand its footprint in India. A few months back, some reports suggested that ChatGPT-maker OpenAI would bring its first-ever physical office in India. It was reported to be set up in Delhi later this year. While there is no official information about it so far, but the collaboration with PhonePe seems like a step forward to tap more Indian userbase.
