RayNeo has launched its newest AR glasses in China. The Air 3s and Air 3s Pro pack impressive tech. They use the same OLED display found in the iPad Pro, making media consumption a feast for the eyes. These AR glasses feature a foldable design with soft and adjustable nose pads. This provides comfortable fit and relaxed fit. The frame is well balanced and reducing pressure on your nose. On the display side, the RayNeo AR glasses feature a crisp 0.6-inch Micro-OLED display with a full HD resolution of 1920×1080 in 2D mode, and 3840×1080 in 3D mode. The dual-stack OLED technology delivers a peak brightness of 1200 nits, with 20 brightness levels to suit any environment. The displays run at a 60Hz refresh rate, with an optional 120Hz mode for silky-smooth videos. Color quality is top-notch, covering 145% of the sRGB gamut and 98% of DCI-P3. As for additional features, the RayNeo glasses are powered by their own Peacock Optical Engine 2.0, which cuts down light pollution by 15% and offers five colour modes: Standard, Movie, Game, Eye Care, and High Brightness. On the audio side, the Air 3s comes with four stereo speakers tuned by TCL’s acoustic team. They also feature a whisper mode for private listening.
The glasses support direct Type-C connections and can work with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch. They also support HDMI and PD adapters, expanding use with PCs and home setups. They also include all sensors like an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and geomagnetic sensor for better tracking and interaction.
The specifications remain similar for both glasses, but the Pro model has a trick up its sleeve. It steps up with 3D surround sound, a light-blocking front shield, and includes a charging adapter in the box. It also adds RayNeo’s Eyebox technology for better image clarity across different eye distances.
The RayNeo Air 3s and Air 3s Pro are priced at 1,499 yuan (Rs 17,803) and 1,599 yuan (Rs 18,994) respectively. These types of innovations give us a glimpse of the kind of technology AR glasses can offer in the future, especially when tech giants like Google, Apple, and Samsung step in.
