Google is hosting its ‘Made by Google’ event on August 20, where it is expected to unveil the Pixel 10 series. Alongside the new smartphones, Google will also launch the Pixel Watch 4. Ahead of the big launch, a report by AndroidHeadlines has leaked the key specs and features of the upcoming smartwatch.
The leak via AndroidHeadlines confirms that the Pixel Watch 4 will be powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip, which also powered the Pixel Watch 3. However, there are some improvements on the cards with a secondary M55 co-processor. It will be faster than last year’s M33 co-processor. The new chip is expected to offer faster AI performance, allowing the Pixel Watch 4 to handle five times the workload. This suggests that Gemini AI could be making its way to the new Pixel watch.
The Pixel Watch 4 is also getting a battery boost. According to the report, the 41mm variant will be equipped with a 325mAh battery (up from 301mAh) and the 45mm model will get a bigger 455mAh unit (up from 420mAh). This could enable the 41mm model to deliver up to 30 hours of battery life with Always-On display or 48 hours in battery saver mode. The 45mm variant, on the other hand, could offer up to 40 hours of battery life with Always-On enabled and 72 hours on battery saver mode.
The Pixel Watch 4 will pack a plethora of sensors, including SpO2 blood oxygen monitor, heart rate tracker, compass, gyroscope, altimeter, barometer, multipurpose sensors that work with the ECG app, and more.
Google will launch the Pixel 10 series, Pixel Watch 4, and the Pixel Buds 2a at the Made by Google event on August 20, 2025. The pre-orders could start on the same date, while the release could kick off on August 28.
