Microsoft, days after bringing chat bubbles and 4K display support on Teams, has released an update bringing a host of new features to the platform. Here are all the details.

Delete Chats
This feature will enable users to easily remove chat conversations that they no longer need without impacting other participants in the same chat.

This feature brings 800 new emojis to Microsoft Teams.

Always on captions
This feature lets users show sign language for up to two participants' videos so they stay visible even while content is shared. Additionally, users can set captions to stay on across all meetings.

Adobe Acrobat support
Adobe has released the new integration of Adobe Acrobat into Microsoft Teams. This feature will let users set Adobe Acrobat as the default PDF app in Teams.

Add people to a group chat with mention
With this update, users will be able to add new participants to the chat with @mention. This removes the need to navigate to the add-dialog. When adding new participants, you can control how much of the chat history to share, Microsoft says.

Recomended People
Microsoft says that Team will now use AI to assist users in initiating new conversations by recommending colleagues based on their previous collaborations. However, this feature will be generally available by the end of the year.
