What to expect at Apple WWDC 2024? (LIVE Streaming)

The WWDC 2024 will be a mega-event attended by several developers. The major announcement at the event will be about software and AI. Apple is expected to unveil iOS 18 for Apple iPhones and iPadOS 18 for iPads. We should also see the latest version of the visionOS, watchOS, macOS, and tvOS.

Apple’s biggest unveil a the event will probably be iOS 18. This time around, Apple is expected to bring major changes to the operating system. Apple has been planning to bring AI features to iOS and that may finally happen with iOS 18, if we go by the rumours. That said, we are expected to see AI features throughout the OS, starting from the browser to the photos app. The OS is also expected to have Generative AI features similar to ChatGPT and Gemini.

Other than this, we may also see home screen customisation and an improved Siri. The latter may finally receive some useful features and updates, again, powered by AI. Further, Apple may adopt RCS for messaging with iOS 18.

A recent report revealed that users may also be able to create AI-powered emojis on iOS 18. Voice Memo transcriptions and Smart Recaps are other features we are expected to see. The latter is expected to work like Microsoft’s Recall feature.
